Castles, Guided Reading, Poetry, Division and Coastal features in 2C!

2C have had a busy week learning to use their designs to write instructions to build castles. Following their designs, they then built and painted their castles.

Children are getting used to rotating for Guided  Reading and carrying out handwriting, iPad activities, reading with Mr Chave or Mrs Daswani, diary writing or Phonics activities.

Poetry has been introduced this week to the class and they had a go at writing a poem about their five senses using word mats to help them.

In Maths, the class have moved on to learning about division. Learning about the symbols, language and concepts using blocks to help represent it.

In Geography the class has been learning about coastal features and which are human or physical in nature.
