The children have recently been reading and enjoying some of Max Velthuijs' books. They have been learning about the main character called Frog and some of his antics. Last week the children began to plan their own stories which will be written in a similar style. Today the children started to write their short stories - taking into consideration all of the writing techniques and punctuation we have been focusing on this year. Tomorrow the children will finish their books and begin to paint the illustrations; we are all looking forward to reading them as a class!
