 Trying to solve problems involving time e.g. A lion starts eating at 11 o'clock. He eats for one hour. What time does he finish eating?



 Children also tried to make up their own TV shows, naming them and stating what time they start, finish and the duration - drawing the correct corresponding clock faces.

Class 2A authors in the making

Some of the children in the class have been writing their own story books, in their free time. It has been lovely to see them so engaged and working so hard. Some of our authors are: Olly Walpole, Hans Chiu, Danny Brunner, Darren Gao, Belinda Liu, Sunny Li and Natalie Kung.

2A learn about Max Velthuijs

In class 2A we have been focusing on different stories by the same author. We have been looking at the author Max Velthuijs. He is a very famous children's author from the Netherlands and his because are very special because they each contain a moral. The first story we read was Frog is Frog. this story was about a Frog who didn't recognise his talents and wanted to be exactly like his friends. in class we discussed how everyone is different and why we are special and unique. Ethan told the class "we all have a very special place in the world." and Sunny followed this up by collating a whole class talent book. The children had the opportunity to work for a news channel and interview Frog. Here are some of the pictures from the studio...
