Class 2E Making sentences and writing words

The children, this week, have done a range of cacti items, including sequencing the story of Jack and the Beanstalk. These children were given the task of reconstructing sentences from the story. They had to work together to read the words and decide what order to place them in. They all worked really well together.

We have also been learning how to write numbers as words. We played some internet games on the interactive whiteboard and then the children played their own game. Again the children worked together, in pairs this time, to see who could write each number the fastest on their whiteboards. The element of competition really focused their minds!
