Class 2A celebrate 100 days at NAIS

We have had a brilliant day today celebrating 100 days at NAIS. As part of our morning task the children reflected on what they had enjoyed and what they are looking forward to. The children came up with lots of ideas including, The Nativity, Kidsfest, Inter-House Competitions, learning the recorder, learning their times tables and lots lots more. It was lovely to hear their thoughts and to fin gout what their highlights have been.

In English we looked at our achievements so far at NAIS during our "100 days smarter" activity. The children were asked to think about all the things that they couldn't when they first started and what they can do now. It was easy to make a list of all the things we have learnt so far. They definitely are 100 days smarter. Here's some photos of them at work...

In maths we looked at 100 different ways to make 100. The children worked in teams to complete this and really enjoyed the challenge. I encouraged them to use the four operations to find different ways to make 100. Here's more photos of the teams and the what they came up with. I think you will be amazed...
