2A and 2B have really enjoyed starting work on their next Traditional Tale 'The Gingerbread Man'. They have created story maps, sequenced events and discussed the characters' motives in the story. The classes have also enjoyed helping the Gingerbread man to escape the story characters through mazes using direction vocabulary and position. Miss Howard and I were very impressed with the children's own mazes which were extremely tricky to solve! Tomorrow we will be continuing the work with story boarding, considering themes and settings. A good start!
