2E Lovely Landscape Labelling

Class 2E did some work this week identifying landscape features. As a whole class we discussed what a landscape was and the differences between human and physical, or natural, features. The children then worked in small groups to label photos of different landscapes with features such as: forest, mountain, beach, building, house, river, cliffs, etc

As ever, I was very impressed with the children's team-working skills and also with their desire to challenge themselves and label more and more photos. There was a lot of discussion and some disagreements about what labels to put where.

Ask your child to tell you the difference between human features and physical features, or at least tell you some examples of each.
