What's the story?

2D have been busy planning and writing stories this week. We used story cubes to find characters, one good character and one bad character. Then we used other cubes to find an object and a setting for the story.

We told the stories to a partner then a bigger group, this was very interesting as we got to hear each other's ideas and then ask questions. Next we produced a cartoon strip to tell the story in pictures and finally we wrote it down.

Later we focused on full stops capital letters and handwriting to make our stories easier to read and share with each other.

Our stories included giants, monsters, magic keys and ancient castles, Princes old forests and beans talks.
