We have been examining information texts this week and then writing our own information pages. We began by isolating the features of information texts and how they are different from other text types we have studied. We were then able to do research and write our own information pages.
Our theme is Oceans so we have created information texts about undersea animals, whales, sharks, turtles, all varieties of other fish and even sea lice!
The children have been very interested in this topic and are finding out many fascinating facts to share with each other.
