Happy New Year from 2C! This week 2C have been getting back into the routines of school. The iPads have been updated with new Apps for English and Maths and the class were very excited to try them out! In English, children have been introduced to the concept of non-fiction books and the specific features of such information texts e.g. title, subheading, photos, diagrams, captions, fact boxes, contents page, glossary and index. They have practised identifying these features in a range of non-fiction information books, many linked to our new Theme topic of Oceans.
