2D Creating a Room on the Broom storyboard.

This week in English we have been reading Room on the Broom by Julia Donaldson. The children had fun first listening to the story then acting it out in small groups and creating alternative endings. Each presented their drama to the rest of the class and then got a chance to evaluate each other's performance. Everyone was impressed with Will who was the narrator for his group, he did a great job!

The next stage was writing and illustrating a storyboard including the most important parts of the story. This was quiet a challenge as the children had to decide which parts to leave out and which parts to include so the storyboard made sense. Also this week, Christopher won a well deserved Star of the Week for his written work.
