Class 2A - A visit from Witchity Click and measures in Maths

As part of our English topic, different stories by the same author we started to read 'Room on the Broom.' The children thoroughly enjoyed looking at the stories and spent some of their time writing to Witchity Click and thinking of questions to ask her. To their surprise we had a visit from her and she answered all of their questions and even cast some magic spells.

In maths we have been looking at Measures. We have looked at weight, length and capacity. We have looked at the units we use to measure in and the children have had the chance to use a variety of measuring equipment. Here are some photos of them:
