2E Geography
The highlight of this week for the children was locating the world's major mountain ranges on a map and then using Google Earth to zoom in and have a close-up look at them, before marking and labelling each one carefully on their own blank map of the world.
The children enjoyed this activity and had great fun actually looking at the terrain of the landscapes they were marking on their maps. This activity really brought the subject alive for them.
