2E Materials hunt

We went on a hunt around the school to try to identify what different materials things were made from. The focus was on metal, wood, plastic, glass and fabric. The children had great fun going to different rooms and discussing why each object was made from the material it was made from. We even went to Mrs Harley's office! The children should be able to tell you about properties such as strength, flexibility, comfort, transparency, etc.
