Class 2A Investigating 3D shapes

In maths we have been looking at 3D shapes. We have discussed what makes a shape 3D and introduced key vocabulary such as the shape names, faces, edges and vertices. The children were set a challenge to investigate the properties of different 3D shapes. The children were fully engaged in the task and enjoyed the challenge of finding the answers for themselves.
